joint pain in my 7 year old daughter?

WHITNEY P asked:

my daughter is 7. she has been complaining of her ankles, knees, and sometimes her wrists hurting. she also has some kind of rash on the lower half of her body. and also complaining of headaches. i took her to the dr and they treated her with steroids for the rash because they don’t know what was the cause of it. the rash seems to be doing some better but the joint pain, they didn’t seem to worried about. almost like she was making it up. now she is walking with a constant bend in her legs. and she just wants to lay around all the time. i’m going to call another dr in the morning because i’m not happy with the dr she went to ignoring her symptoms, but does anyone have any ideas as to what she may have or what may be causing this? we just moved into a new house and the symptoms did not start until after the move. my youngest son is 15 months old and also has a rash on his lower half of the b ody, but i was told that he had eczema, however he has had a diaper rash continuously since we moved in here. i have to use caldesine powder on him everytime i change him to keep it somewhat cleard up. could there problems be linked? my other two children do not have these issues, but their bedrooms are also on the other side of the house. oh, one more thing. we also have a dog that my daughter sleep with. the last couple of nights, i have made the dog stay outside to see if that makes any change in my daughter but it hasn’t. but she also slept with our dog in our previous house and there were no issues, but i thought i might try it anyways. thanks for all of your help. if your a dr. any insight would be appreciated!!!
we moved into this house around christmas. when we moved in the house had been empty for about 6 months. the house kinda smelled musty, but i just thought that it was because the house was closed up for so long. there was some mice in the house, but when you live in the country, that’s expected. also when i was removing the wallpaper in the bathroom, there looked like some kind of mold there. it looked like old mold. i don’t know if these extra detail help or not. also the house is kinda like a log house. cedar walls and all. they are in her room. i don’t think that the wood would have anything to do with anything, but wood does hold moisture.
